So I talked a bit about this on twitter in this thread [link], but I wanted to talk a bit more on that (and there's just something about the deviantART journal layout that makes it so nice to type stuff out on). So, like I said in my thread, I've really been struggling with my art over the last few years. I've been fighting my way out of a really dark place, mentally, and it's really affected my drive to create and share my work. For a while, art was my escape from that dark place, but, over time the depression started to leech the joy and relief out of making art, too. It started to feel like a chore, and just became another thing weighing
